that this is "flawed" film. The source material, the original British 6 part, 5 hour mini series from 2003 made it a thankless task to try and squeeze it all into 2 hours. Brad Pitt was originally interested in playing Cal McAffrey but decided against it as he felt it was impossible to do justice to the original. I think he was right.
But I have a question. The initial scenes show Deshaun Stagg running from Wisconsin Avenue to where he was shot on Water Street under the Key Bridge. Along the way he briefly passes a large white columned building (1:25 in the film) which is obviously not in Georgetown.
Do you know the building? It annoys the hell out of me every time I watch this film. Both because it's there and because I don't know where it is!
