For two decades, I've had a passion for film locations and film-related travel. Now I'd like to share this passion and its fruits through this blog. I've amassed vast image archives that still need to be converted into posts, and there are many new findings that are still waiting to be photographed, so please be patient.

While some of these locations have been covered elsewhere, many others represent my own research and appear here for the first time. I hope you'll enjoy the site.

Avignon

The Lady in the Car with Glasses and a Gun (1970)

Dany (Samantha Eggar) arrives in Avignon - Pont Édouard Daladier, Avignon, France.

The fireworks on Bastille Day over the Palais des Papes, Place des Papes.

Dany wanders through the crowds at the Place des Papes...

and later, near the Porte de la République.

Dany meets with Jean (Bernard Fresson) and his partner at the station cafe - Avignon Centre train station. The station has been substantially remodeled since the film was made.

Dany posts a letter to the police - Rue Gérard Philippe.
