  1. Bonsoir,

The rear of Chemin Fillion 6, featured in Red, was based around a temporary set erected at the rear and later dismantled after filming was completed:

Slawek offered to be the cinematographer for Blue when Krzysztof showed him the three scripts keeping in mind how tired the director got by the end of Decalogue and wished to avoid any stressful situation that might have led to misunderstandings. In the end, they had considerable difficulty trying to avoid shooting the same or similar things seen in their earlier collaboration in The Double Life of Véronique.

    À bientôt, A. Fabbri.

  2. Thanks for sharing! This is quite unique information. I was a couple of times in Geneva (before this blog was published). I did web searches, asked around, and was disappointed to see that nobody could tell me Rouge's filming locations.

    1. Thank you, Hugo. Glad you found this useful. Maybe you'll go to Geneva in the future and can visit these locations.

  3. Thanks ever so much! I saw this film this night for at least the 7th time, and have always been curious where Kieslowski shot this movie. It's probably my all time favourite movie.

  4. a THOUSAND THANKS FOR THIS! I love 'Three Colours: Red' and 'La Doble Vie de Veronique'. I was terribly disappointed when no one in the tourist office could help when I called. They really should have a film tour, rather like 'The Third Man' in Vienna.
I am horrrified that the building with Chez Joseph has been demolished.

But...I am going to Geneva soon and cannot wait to check out these locations.

    John Kennedy.

  5. I liked that movie, saw it on the big screen when it came out.
