The film was also released in 2010 as a TV miniseries which included more scenes and more locations. This post only covers those shown in the theatrical version. I’ve identified the Stockholm locations but several others are still unknown.
Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) walking through underground passages – Yellow and Blue Passages, Slussen, Stockholm, Sweden. These (along with the Green Passage) were a system of pedestrian tunnels through the Slussen transport hub. They got their names from the color of the wall tiles. They were shut down in January 2016 and demolished as part of the hub reconstruction under Project Slussen.
The court where Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist) loses a libel case against Wennerström – Svea hovrätt (Svea Court of Appeal), Birger Jarls torg 16, Stockholm, Sweden. It is located in the Wrangel Palace, on Riddarholmen islet in Gamla Stan.
