  1. Great blog, thanks. I hope one day you will also cover the first part of the Cercle Rouge, in Marseilles. Cheers.

    1. I live near Meursault l'hopital where Vogel escapes, I went there to try to find the house station where Mattei calls for police back up. I have also been to La Rochepot to see the former "relaisroute" where Corey stops for lunch. Pity this restaurant closed in 1972 and they made it a night club that burn a few years later. The windows were walled up and a high fence all around makes it hard to see from the road. I shot a few pictures if you re interested

  2. Bonjour again,
Did you notice that the street where the fence’s (Paul Crauchet) lives looks very much like one of the Samourai street, where Jef comes to change the license plate and to get a gun (pics 3 and 4 in your blog) ? Cheers.

    1. It might as well be, but I don't know where it is. It may not even exist anymore. The area looks very rundown.

    2. You re right I noticed that too. I am afraid this street doesn't exists as such anymore, it was probably torn down and rebuilt.
I have tried to find the film locations in Marseille on google maps, not that easy except for the rail station Marseille Blancarde we can see at the very beginning of the film

    3. It turns out to be the same street indeed. And it's in Montreuil. I've updated the blog with the addresses.

  3. Hello,

I'm french and north Marseille native.
I can locate for you where Corey stopped along the A7 highway with his new buiyed car.

You know where it is, at the movie's biginning just before connection to go to Aix en Provence to the right, or, Lyon and Paris direction straigh or a little to the left.

Corey will get straight right to Paris.

This scene takes place on the A7 highway, along the Chemin de la Bédoule, where a part of my family lived many years ago.

This path is down under and along the right side of the highway, "en contrebas", in french. It is also near of the Château des Tourelles path.

    It is located at Septèmes-les-Vallons.

    Best regards
