For two decades, I've had a passion for film locations and film-related travel. Now I'd like to share this passion and its fruits through this blog. I've amassed vast image archives that still need to be converted into posts, and there are many new findings that are still waiting to be photographed, so please be patient.
While some of these locations have been covered elsewhere, many others represent my own research and appear here for the first time. I hope you'll enjoy the site.
Great blog! I've also been cataloguing film locations (specifically NYC) as a hobby and always excited to see other people's research.
ReplyDeleteone note: the Cooper Classics car scene was actually shot across the street at 132 Perry Street. At the time, owner Elliot Cuker had property on both sides of the street. You can actually see the official Cooper Classics showroom (which you have pictured above) in the reverse shot of the Japanese tourists taking pictures.
It took me a while to figure it out because the property at 132 has changed quite a bit since 1997. A big clue came when I spotted a reflection of the very distinctive architecture of 131 Perry street in the pickup truck's windshield as the camera tracks by.
Thank you very much for the correction!
