  1. Yuri, was Inez and her parents' dinner scene also shot in Le Meurice?

    1. No, it's Le Grande Véfour, 17 Rue du Beaujolais.

    2. I mean the one where they discuss where Paul is and where Inez leaves to dance with Paul?

    3. Honestly, I don't remember. I did it more than a year ago. Given the sheer number of locations, I didn't pay much attention to the interiors.

  2. Yuri, have you edited these screencaps in any way? The colours seem somewhat different than in the film.

By the way, do you know where was the image of the roofs of Paris from the opening montage taken?

There seem to be two buildings that might be easily recognizable, but which I couldn't, so far, find. One is that long building in the top left corner, it seems to have a row of small windows, and the other is that cupola, again at the top, but nearer to the centre of the frame, that looks like a lemon squeezer.

    1. No, I haven't. I might have made the night scenes a little lighter (otherwise, there's not much to be seen.)
The color depends on the calibration of your monitor, or your TV screen. Sometimes Blu-ray colors are different from DVD.

    2. It looks like a view from Montmartre, south of the Sacre-Coeur.

    3. Thank you, Yuri! I presumed that it's somewhere from that hill. One of the frames from the montage is much wider, so this one in particular might have been shot from the same place but zoomed in.

The night scenes did, in particular, look a lot brighter.

The daylight ones did a bit, too.
